The xCLAUDE website and the services we offer through it are provided by the xCLAUDE team, an independent open-source project. You can reach us through the contact form on this site.

These terms apply to your use of the website at xclaude.ai and any services we offer from it.

The xCLAUDE software itself — the desktop application you install on your Mac — is open source under the MIT License. The terms of that license, available in the LICENSE file in our public GitHub repository, govern your rights to use, modify, and redistribute the software. Nothing in these terms restricts your rights under the MIT License.

xCLAUDE is open source under the MIT License. The full license text is available at github.com/rebecazm129-commits/xclaude-gateway.

Under the MIT License you may use, copy, modify, and distribute the software, subject to the conditions of that license. The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind.

You may use the xCLAUDE website to learn about the product, download xCLAUDE, contact us, and access the resources we publish. When you use the website, you agree not to:

• Use it for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to disrupt or compromise the security of the site or other users.
• Scrape the site at volumes that interfere with normal operation.
• Misrepresent your identity or impersonate others.
• Reverse engineer or attempt to derive source code from the website beyond what is already public on GitHub.

We may suspend or restrict access for users who violate these terms.

xCLAUDE is a security and audit tool. It detects, classifies, and logs events related to your AI assistant's tool calls. Its detection is heuristic and best-effort, which means:

• It can produce false positives, flagging things that aren't actual threats.
• It can produce false negatives, missing things that are actual threats.
• It only sees the sources configured through it: wrapped MCP servers, connectors added in the app, and Claude Code sessions via its session hook. It does not see Claude Desktop's native Connectors (Gmail, Drive, GitHub, Slack, etc.).
• xCLAUDE observes, classifies, and logs events but does not actively block tool calls.

xCLAUDE is not a substitute for a complete security strategy. You should not rely on it as the sole layer of protection for sensitive data, credentials, or systems. You remain responsible for the security of your machine, your data, and your AI workflows.

The xCLAUDE website and services are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from harmful components. We do not warrant that the information on the website is accurate, complete, or current.

To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability to you arising from or related to these terms or your use of the website and services is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. xCLAUDE is currently free, so this amount is zero.

In no event will we be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

xCLAUDE is an independent third-party project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Anthropic, PBC. "Claude" is a trademark of Anthropic. We use the name as a descriptive reference to the AI assistant our tool integrates with.

The name "xCLAUDE" and any associated branding belong to the xCLAUDE team.

We may suspend or terminate access to the website and the services at any time, with or without notice, for any reason — including but not limited to violation of these terms or the discontinuation of the project.

You may stop using the website at any time.

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated version on this page with a new "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify subscribers by email. Your continued use of the website after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain and applicable European Union regulations. Any dispute arising from or relating to these terms or your use of the website will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Spanish courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.
